SoRoTo was established in 1986 and created the original forced action mixer. They are now a world-leading manufacturer of mixers, paddle mixers and belt conveyors.<\/p>

The original mixers were constructed by a master bricklayer, Benny Andersen, who wanted to create a practical, reliable and portable machine for indoor tiling, flooring, concrete renovation and regular masonry.<\/p>

We’re often asked “Can we hire a forced action mixer?” by a lot of our regular customers. To help them out and ensure we’re providing a complete service to all contractors, we made the decision to offer the hire of a SoRoTo mixer.<\/p>

Resin mixer hire means that a SoRoTo mixer and all necessary accessories can be loaned for the length of a project. This allows professionals to avoid needing to make a sizeable investment and having to consider storage and upkeep – instead it is rented and given back at the end of the project.<\/p>

When hiring a mixer from us, you will receive the following pieces of equipment:<\/p>

SoRoTo 100L<\/strong><\/a>: The 100L is our best-selling forced action mixer. It is able to mix up to 240kg of materials and is able to hold an industry-standard 4 bag mix – making it ideal for resin bound installers. It is light and narrow enough to fit through standard doorways. It can be taken right where it is needed, instead of having to down tools to carry small buckets or wheelbarrows of mixed materials back to where the installer is working.<\/p>

3KVA Tool Transformer<\/strong><\/a>: The Tool Transformer is perfectly suited to being used with SoRoTo mixers. Site transformers are most commonly used on larger sites when many trades are working side-by-side on separate elements of a job. It is made from extra-rugged GRP to withstand harsh conditions and is IP44 rated and splashproof.<\/p>

230v Extension Lead<\/strong><\/a>: The extension lead is perfect for use with our mixers and other appliances that can be connected directly from mains electrical output. It means professionals have access to a power source whilst working away from mains power. It is tested to UK safety standards.<\/p>

1220w Paddle Mixer<\/strong><\/a>: This handheld electric mixer is designed for regular use. It can be used in conjunction with a pan mixer when working with resin bound gravel and combined with the GA120 whisk it is perfect for combining Part A and Part B resin binders. How Hiring works<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Our mixers and accessories are available to hire at a cost of \u00a3200+VAT. Full terms and conditions are available on our mixer hire page<\/a>. Any\u00a0customer who orders washed and dried aggregates and resins for a resin bound project from GCL Products, is eligible to hire a resin mixer from us too!<\/p>

Step 1: The customer pays for the full cost of equipment (\u00a31660+VAT) along with their order resin bound kits.<\/p>

Step 2: The mixer is then loaned to the customer and shipped out along with the gravel and resin.<\/p>

Step 3: Use the mixer and other equipment as part of their resin bound project.<\/p>

Step 4: Thoroughly clean the mixer after use before returning the mixer and other equipment back to GCL (this is done at customers’ cost).\u00a0<\/p>
