The bi-curved fins help to dissipate vertical loads outwards and the cylindrical cells add masses of strength to cope with the pressure.

As X-Grid is designed to be 93% open structure, the panels are easily moved around on site and requires very little manual labour to install it. When the surface is prepared and the grid integrated into the existing surface, it’s barely visible to the eye and helps to aid air-circulation below the floor of the building. As X-Grid is constructed from stable HDPE plastic rather than wood, it is impervious to rot and will not encourage water ingress to the timbers at the bottom of the building.
