This resin binder is a popular choice with wet pour rubber installers as it cures at a slower rate in warmer weather. It has a medium viscosity, so it can easily be mixed with rubber granules. This binder provides a short application time – approximately 15-45 minutes depending on temperature and humidity. This is a Non-UV binder which does not prevent yellowing or discolouration of rubber crumb surfaces like UV-stable variations.

Wet Pour Rubber
Wet pour rubber is an impact-absorbing and low-maintenance rubber crumb safety surface. It is most commonly used in flooring around playgrounds, parks and other recreational areas. Wet Pour Rubber has a high critical fall height which helps to reduce injuries.
Wet pour rubber is created by mixing together a coloured EPDM rubber and a wet pour specific resin binder in a forced action mixer. This creates a material that can be easily spread, leveled off and finished off using a trowel.
The material created is versatile as it can be used in various applications. It is permeable as it allows surface water to drain away naturally, which reduces the risk of localised flooding.
The surface is low maintenance as it is easy to maintain by wearing suitable footwear and brushing or washing with soap and hot water.
This non-UV product has a yellowing effect which will show more on lighter and brighter EDPM colours.
There is plenty of variation with 20+ EPDM rubber crumb variants available.
