Warranty Information

What Does This Limited Warranty Cover?

This Limited Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period. The Product must be returned to the business unit at Sheepbridge Lane, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S41 9RX so that the machine can be inspected and the necessary works planned. This return is at the cost of the owner of the Product and not the responsibility of GCL Products Ltd.

During the Warranty Period, GCL Products Ltd will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or manufacture, under normal use and maintenance.

This Limited Warranty is non-transferable and the balance of the warranty will not transfer in the event of a transfer of ownership.

What Does This Warranty NOT Cover?

Certain parts are designated as wearing parts and will not be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, with the exception of manufacturing defects. These parts are not covered by the warranty and regular wear and tear will not result in a successful warranty claim. The designated parts are as follows:
  • Dust Controller
  • Grid lid
  • Drum
  • Mixer gate (trap)
  • Safety grids
  • Location pins on the drive shaft
  • Rubber strap
  • Frame
  • Wheels
  • Bucket stand
  • Mixer arms and paddles

What Will We Do To Correct Problems?

Soroto Mixers will repair the Product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts to make good the working order of the Product.

How Long Does The Coverage Last?

The Warranty Period for Physical Goods purchased from GCL Products is 2 Years from the date of purchase.

A replacement part assumes the remaining warranty of the original Physical Good and does not extend the warranty in any case, beyond the limitation of 2 years from the date of purchase.

What Does This Limited Warranty Not Cover?

This Limited Warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by:

  • Conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship,
  • Conditions, malfunctions or damage resulting from negligence, improper maintenance or modification,
  • Damaged or destroyed by natural causes including but not limited to lightning, flood, or other natural disaster,
  • Theft or loss of the Physical Goods,
  • The Customer shall assume all risk of loss or damage to the Physical Good while in transit to us.

What Do You Have To Do?

To obtain warranty service, you must first contact us to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution for you.

Deliver the Physical Goods, in either its original packaging or packaging providing an equal degree of protection, including any accessories or documents that shipped with the Physical Goods to the address specified by GCL Products Ltd. We highly recommend ensuring there is sufficient insurance to cover the value of the item when being carried by third party hauliers.
