110v 3.3kVA Tool Transformer

Our tool transformers are perfectly suited to being used with SoRoTo forced action mixers and extension cables to allow your appliances to be effectively powered on both construction sites and domestic sites. The portable tool transformers can power site lighting, forced action mixers, angle grinders or other appliances. These tool transformers are essential for contractors who must conform with site-safe voltage electrics requirements.

The 3.3kVA portable transformer is incredibly popular and can be used along with corded products including SDS drills, small demolition hammers, bench grinders and circular saws. It is also suited for lighting products, industrial fans, dehumidifiers and fume extractors.

We have two 110v transformers available:

• The 110v 3kVa tool transformer has two 16amp sockets, is rated at 1.65kVa for continuous use and 3.3kVa for intermittent use.
• The 110v 5kVa tool transformer has two 16amp sockets and one 32amp socket. It is rated at 2.5 kVa for continuous use and 5kVa for intermittent use.

Site transformers are most commonly used on larger sites when many trades are working side-by-side on separate elements of a job. The portable tool transformer is made from extra-rugged GRP to withstand harsh conditions. It has IP44 rating meaning that it is protected against solid objects that are over 1mm (e.g. tools and small wires). It is also splashproof from water at any angle.
