One of the most innovative products to reach the UK construction products market is our black fully recycled plastic boards, RecoPly, which can be used as a replacement for traditional wooden plyboard. Manufactured from 100% recycled plastic, these plastic boards are ideal for use both indoor or outdoor and can be used for a huge number of applications from hoardings to bathroom flooring. The RecoPly’s versatility comes from the many benefits that each plastic board carries including being 100% recycled plastic, strong, environmentally friendly, maintenance free, rot and weather resistant with a fantastic 26 year manufacturer guarantee.
Long lasting plastic plyboard for outdoor constructions
Our black RecoPly is fully workable like wood so can be affixed and sawn in the same way as a traditional plywood board would be. This makes each of our recycled plastic boards very useful in a number of different settings from domestic bathrooms or communal toilet and shower blocks to construction sites, agricultural and farms lands. Our recycled plastic plyboard can also be used to create outdoor constructions such as furniture, plastic apiaries, hoardings, animal enclosures and is even used in and around sporting arenas. Due to its waterproof and rot resistant properties, as well as the versatile nature of the product, RecoPly can be used in creative and innovative ways with no risk of degradation so you can experiment as much as you would like – one of our customers actually created a wardrobe using RecoPly.
RecoPly is also used in place of so called “Mermaid Boards”. It is the ideal product for use in areas where occasional or constant moisture is present as a possible issue such as domestic kitchens, bathrooms, public shower blocks, toilets and construction sites. Thanks to RecoPly’s no-wood formulation, each board will prevent all moisture absorption and mould from appearing which will in turn will prevent each board from rotting away or breaking down over time.
Unlike traditional plyboard, when used as a hoarding board for construction sites or advertising, RecoPly is reusable as it retains its integrity even after years of continual outdoor use. Choosing a plastic plyboard will therefore help reduce costs of protecting construction sites and remove the need for boards to be replaced over and over between projects.
