One of the most innovative products to reach the UK construction market is our green fully recycled plastic boards, RecoPly, which is used as a replacement for traditional wooden plyboard. Manufactured from recycled plastic, these plastic plyboards are ideal for use both indoor or outdoor and can be utilised for a large number of applications from bathroom flooring to hoardings. The RecoPly’s versatility comes from the many benefits that each plastic board carries including being 100% recycled plastic, strong, environmentally friendly, maintenance free, weather and rot resistant with a 26 year manufacturer guarantee.
Green RecoPly Waterproof Plastic Plyboard
Our green RecoPly boards are workable like wood so can be sawn and affixed in the same way as a traditional plywood board would be. This makes our recycled plastic boards incredibly useful in a number of different settings from domestic bathrooms or communal toilet blocks and showers to construction sites, farms and agricultural land. Our recycled plastic plyboard can also be used to create outdoor constructions such as furniture, construction site hoardings, animal enclosures, plastic apiaries and is even used in and around sporting arenas. Due to its rot resistant and waterproof properties, as well as the versatile nature of the product, RecoPly can be used in innovative and creative ways with no risk of degradation so you can experiment as much or as little as you would like – one of our customers actually created a wardrobe using RecoPly.
RecoPly can also used in place of “Mermaid Boards”. They are the ideal product for use in areas where occasional or constant moisture is present as a possible issue such as in domestic kitchens, bathrooms, public toilets, shower blocks and construction sites. Thanks to RecoPly’s no-wood formulation, each board will prevent all moisture absorption and mould from appearing which will prevent breaking down or rotting away over time.
Unlike traditional wooden plyboard, when used as a hoarding board for advertising or construction sites, RecoPly is reusable as it is able to retain its integrity even after years of continual outdoor use. Choosing a plastic board will help reduce your costs of protecting construction sites and remove the need for boards to be replaced after just one use.
