Woven Membrane – 2x100m

Woven membranes are heavy duty, tear resistant, permeable, easy to install and fully weather resistant membrane sheets that are used in almost all landscaping and gardening projects. They are used to create a long lasting barrier between the ground and your chosen products or covering above. A membrane sheet is versatile and can be used in conjunction with many forms of paving, decking, paths or rubber surfaces. The protective layer stop annual and perennial weeds from reaching the surface, while simultaneously allowing rain, surface water, air and nutrients to drain naturally through the permeable membrane to the ground and plant roots below.

The membranes are vital to huge numbers of projects. They are easy to install. Simply cut or strim the area of existing vegetation down to the root, ensuring there are no fibrous stalks present (these could penetrate the membrane). Alternatively, excavate an entire area to leave an exposed soil surface. The membrane can easily be rolled into position and secured in place using galvanised steel membrane staples of plastic fixing pegs at approximately 1 metre intervals. Ensure that the membrane is secured tightly before continuing with the rest of the project installation.
