U-Pin – 3mm x 170mm Green

3mm diameter green u-pins are manufactured from mild steel and contoured into a U-shape before being powder coated in an anti-corrosion green paint to prolong the life of the fixing. The green paint also helps make each pin discreet as when used with grass protection mesh, grass reinforcement mesh or artificial grass it will blend in with the surrounding green area.

Being 170mm long and 40mm wide, you can use these secure fixings to connect together two neighbouring products whilst being a great anchor. It is recommended that you use a secure anchor for your products as without a good fixing when walked, cycled or even driven over, then the products can move or be dislodged.

The anchor pegs are made from 3mm diameter mild steel wire.

Long-lasting fixing pegs

The U-Pins are coated in anti-corrosion green paint. These anchor pegs are coated in the paint in order to prolong the life of the fixing which also is discreet and used with artificial grass, mesh and membranes.

The pins give a secure and almost hidden fixing for use with green products or one grass areas. The anchoring products fix the product into a fixed place to provide a stable walking, cycling or driving surface.

How to install the 3mm anchor pegs

Installation is easy. To install simply lay out your artificial grass, membrane or mesh and insert the U-Pin into the ground at 1m intervals. Ensure the staple sits flush with the surrounding ground level. If the ground is hard and it is difficult to push the staple into the ground surface, use a rubber or wooden mallet or hammer.

GrassMesh is a lighter form of grass protection which is intended for use in areas used solely by pedestrians and wheelchair uses. It is renowned for flexibility and is used effectively on undulating areas as it can be flat to the ground. It creates a discreet appearance which users will barely notice, while also protecting the lawn from erosion.

Using the U-Pins it is easy to install and fix into place.

It is ideal for golf courses, events, campsites, paths, walkways and landscaping.
