The SoRoTo 100L: Most Popular Ideal for Resin Bound Gravel
Manufactured to the highest quality, SoRoTo mixers are specially designed and manufactured to withstand the toughest of environments that machinery can face on building sites. With efficient but quiet motors and rugged, durable designs, each SoRoTo upright pan mixer is perfect for contractors who require high-capacity output machines which are efficient, portable and reliable.
Versatile pan mixer for industries including resin bound
With the meteoric rise of resin-bound gravel sweeping across the UK, contractors are heavily reliant on the most important piece of equipment in their van, the Mixer. As it is absolutely imperative that aggregate and resin are combined evenly and quickly to ensure maximum time to work or trowel the product into place before the resin starts to cure, it’s important to make sure that you have a mixer with enough capacity, power, and efficiency to handle the demands of mixing this dense, sticky mixture.
Also ideally suited for contractors who have a requirement for mixing large amounts (up to 240kg approximately) of materials, such as mortar, render, plaster, screed, and concrete, exactly where they need it. As the SoRoTo 100L Mixer is narrow enough to fit through standard doorways, it can be taken inside and right to where you need it, instead of having to down tools to go outside to carry small buckets of mixed material back to where you are working. This increases productivity and profitability, two essential ingredients for success.
The SoRoTo 100L is ideal for almost any mixing job performed by professionals. If you are planning on mixing material containing aggregate 8mm or larger, we highly recommend using rubber paddles to help reduce strain on the motor and avoid jamming aggregate between the pan and the paddle.
Technical Note – 110v Mixers
Due to the amount of power drawn by a forced action mixer, particularly over long distances where extension leads are used, it is incredibly important to ensure that suitably rated cables and transformers are used. We recommend the transformer is plugged directly into a power outlet, and any connecting cables should have a minimum of 2.5mm core wire to cope with the demand of the mixer. If this spec is not followed, it may result in operating failure or damage to any of the components connected. We recommend the following products as a minimum spec:
14m Extension Lead (16amp) 2.5mm core
3.3kVa 110v Tool Transformer
